Product introduction:
Stepper motors are usually defined with step angle or step parameters. The general motor is divided into 200 steps, that is, the step angle is 1.8 degrees. EasyDriver has step subdivision function. This driver board is subdivided. For 8 subdivisions, that is, subdividing each step of the motor into 8 small steps, which enables more precise control, which means that EasyDriver needs 1600 steps to complete a full 360 degree rotation.
Specific parameters:
Ms1 and ms2 are logic input ports for stepping motor subdivision resolution selection;
Dir is the selection port for the motor running direction;
Reset is used to reset the initial value of the chip and mask all external outputs;
Step is a pulse input port;
Out1a, out1b, out2a, out2b are two pairs of output ports of the h-bridge;
Enable is the enable terminal;
Sleep is a sleep mode;
Sense1 and sense2 are current detecting resistors of the h-bridge;
Ref is the reference voltage;
Gnd is logically and power ground;
Rc1 and rc2 are the fixed-time analog input of the h-bridge.
A3967slb is a pwm constant current controlled micro-stepping drive two-phase stepper motor dedicated driver produced by Allegro Company of the United States. It can work up to 30v and drive current up to 750ma. One a3967slb can drive a two-phase stepper motor, which can realize 8 subdivision drive. The pwm current control circuit inside the chip can be set to three current decay modes by slow, fast and mixed voltages applied to pfd. If the voltage of the pfd terminal is higher than 0.6vdd, the slow decay mode is selected. If it is lower than 0.21vdd, the fast decay mode is selected. In between is a mixed attenuation mode. In addition, the a3967slb can provide comprehensive protection measures, including suppression of transient voltage, overheat protection, protection against current through, under voltage self-locking and other functions.
No additional interface circuit is required between the a3967slb and the microprocessor. The chip adopts easystepper.
The interface reduces the number of eight control lines by two (step and direction). By simply inputting the pulses that control the stepper motor, the embedded converter can control the stepper motor.
A3967slb also needs some resistors and capacitors to adjust its operating parameters, the whole drive circuit is very simple
